The Boy Who Wanted to Fly launched yesterday. With two published books under my belt, I now feel like a real children’s book author!
With the support of family, friends, and a dedicated group of fellow authors who shared information about my book on social media and through word of mouth, The Boy Who Wanted to Fly became a bestseller on Amazon on its launch day. My book achieved the #1 New Release designation in multiple categories, including Children’s Customs & Traditions, Children’s Explore United States Fiction, and Children’s Physics Books. I am very grateful for the support and encouragement I have received throughout this journey. I definitely couldn’t have done it on my own.
I will donate a portion of the proceeds from books sold during launch week to Post-Polio Health International. This non-profit organization enhances the lives of polio survivors through education, advocacy, and networking opportunities. It also supports research efforts to understand and address the ongoing challenges faced by polio survivors.
